The Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation is thrilled to announce a new partnership with the Timmerman Traverse, an adventurous initiative that brings leaders and investors in biotech together to scale extraordinary physical—and philanthropic—heights. Biotech journalist, entrepreneur, and mountaineer Luke Timmerman will lead a team of 20 scientific luminaries who will hike to the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa’s tallest mountain, while aiming to raise at least $1 million to benefit Damon Runyon cancer researchers.
To learn how you can support the team or an individual climber, please visit the 2024 Timmerman Traverse site here, or contact Kim Kubert, Senior Director of Special Events, at [email protected].
